Favorite on my list of hobbies is making toys and gadgets made out of wood, including Skittle Games and Pieces, Chess and Checker Boards, Reels for
Kite String and of course, model airplanes.

The Chess board is made of inlayed white Chinese and dark Brazilian hardwoods
bordered by American oak, inlayed in the tradition of Fr. Vic Zender S.J, on
furniture grade plywood.
My latest Chess board design is made of glued maple strips and machined with a CNC router.
