I am up and running with AutoDesk Fusion 360 CAD/CAM package. I can't help but think this is AutoDesk's revenge for Dassault/SolidWorks' release of DraftSight 2D CAD program.
Just as DraftSight has all the same commands and functions as AutoCAD for no money what so ever, Fusion 360 has all the functionality of SolidWorks, including a very complete CAM package, simulations and stress analysis for no money if you are making less than $100 grand a year.
In the last 2 weeks I was even able to modify existing FANUC post processors for lathe and milling machine made for Fusion 360 into post processors which work perfectly for my latest FlashCut CNC lathe and milling machine system.
